Books
Rich Dad Poor Dad
This is one of my favorite books when it comes to financial mindset.  Are we learning to work for other people and try and get the biggest salary, or grow income streams and build businesses?  When I was in middle school and high school, all I ever heard about was going to college.  I never heard about trade school, or thinking about creating my own business.  It was, which degree will I get, or which degree do I need to go and complete my calling.  Since I am an elementary school teacher and a parent, this book greatly shifted my thinking and helped me focus on how I word things to my kids, and also my students.  This is a very enjoyable, insightful, and thought provoking read!

One Word That Will Change Your Life
I no longer make New Year's resolutions, I figure out my word the new year and use it to reset goals and determine what I want to focus on to better myself.  This sounds similar, but I use it to look at myself in a holistic view instead of one area of my life.  Check out my blog post about the book here.

Websites
Fatherly.com
Fatherly is a really neat website for dads.  It provides so many resources because their mission is to empower men to become better parents so they can raise great kids and lead more fulfilling adult lives.  The great things is that the resources are for dads at all different stages, from expecting to through tweens and teens.  You'll find recommendations and advice on being a dad, but also on how to keep the fire alive between you and your partner.  The articles do not shy away from the controversial topics of today's cultural either, which is wonderful.  Parenting is hard, lets help each other and have real conversations!
